Minecrafting LvL 9000

To date, my most ambitious endeavor in Minecraft has to be, the House. Simply put, it's tedious and detailed and gigantic in proportions. This house is around 150 blocks tall, probably 10 times that in area.

It's a two story house. I'm sure you're thinking, a house? on minecraft? pfft, big deal.

Well, get ready to have your genitals blown clean off from excitement!

This is no mere Minecraft house. This is THE Minecraft house.

Observe:

This is the front of the house. Please bear in mind that this is all still under construction but we are nearing the last stretch of work. Also the interior is quite dark in these pictures. In the game your gamma has to be at 100% to be able to see clearly and the pictures were taken at 50% gamma (default) and then brightened considerably.

The living room is the first room on the right when you come in the door.

Here's another view of the living room. That's SpongeBob on the Big Screen TV.

This is the brightest room in the house because of its nearly all glass ceiling. It's got a comfy bay window seat and an aquarium.

The dining room and the kitchen are directly below the major part of the 2nd floor and are therefore, the darkest rooms in the house. Please forgive the crudeness of the pictures.

Most of the appliances, carpet, and wall decorations are retro inspired. I just love the rounded edges and bright colors. Quite a challenge to replicate with blocks, I should add.

First up, on the second floor is the spare bedroom. I went for cool bright colors and ended up with what some may think is a child's bedroom. Lol, maybe I did it subconsciously.

Here's the bathroom. It's got a toilet, giant fat bottom tub, and walk in shower. Every sink in the house works properly with some red stone technology. ;) The dark thing on the bottom right hand in the sectioned off toilet area.

This is the master bedroom. The furniture is french inspired, a vanity, and a chaise lounge chair. I went with darker colors and simpler patterns for what I think is a sexy grown up room. :) It also has a walk in closet, not pictured, and plenty of skylight.

Among the things not pictured are the car port, game room, backyard, river, and soon to be built fire pit and BBQ areas.

I have lined up a video session with a good friend and video editor who will be posting this to youtube once it is complete in the coming weeks. Until then, my world is always open when I'm online and building. I will be accepting temporary friend requests to anyone who wants to see my world but you have to tell me that is why you want me to accept your request, otherwise it will be denied. I usually delete the temporary requests after 24 hours.

That is all for now fellow Minecraft addicts.

Thanks for reading.

Dinner for two?

I'm impatiently waiting for the 1.8.2 update to the Xbox 360 to finally arrive! I've been playing less but amping myself up to spend tons of time playing once the update comes out.

If you love Minecraft as much as I do, check out the 1.8.2 update Celebration Sale on my etsy shop. 20% off on all Minecraft gear!

In my desperation I decided to revisit some of my old creations. Ah how the time has changed me and my crafting ways lol. I make much bigger and piston-y creations now but when there were no pistons, I dedicated every ounce of creativity into the look of my structures. After Pandaland, I wanted to create a city. I succeeded in the construction of the city to about 90% of its potential. It's got schools, post office, hospital, church, fire department, bank, auditorium, botanical garden, community pool, hot air balloon, mall, movie theaters, gas station, restaurants and more!

I wanted to share some of these creations bit by bit (heehee bit) so I decided to throw in some pictures of some of the restaurants in my city.

Here's my favorite, the Krusty Krab!

I tried to make the inside as accurate as possible. Sorry about the poor quality of the photos. This was  before the lighting fix was applied. The menu is just like in the show. I included Mr. Krabs office, the kitchen, the walking freezer, the tables, the register, and SpongeBob's grill(furnace). :)

Another restaurant I made was near the high school, it's a McDonalds! It has a lobby area, counter with registers, and a drive thru! Menu and all :)

This is the Yumm Yumm Tepanyaki Palace! I had to put a layer of water in the ground floor so that the grill/tables which have glass covering a lava bottom wouldn't set the place ablaze. It took me 4 hours and 10 huge blazing fires to figure that one out. I'd be on the second floor building where a familiar sizzle would run through and ruin everything. It was frustrating lol but worth the hard work.

I hope you like some of my restaurants. I have tons of other builds that I can show you on xbox if you send me a message to La Lady Panda gamertag. Keep an eye out on my blog too, I'll be updating more Minecraft build pics. I hope to have a PVR or PVR connect to be able to record my creations to upload here and youtube soon. Comment on here if you'd like me to visit some of your maps and check out what you have built. I would love to showcase it for you on my blog also. :)

Thanks for reading.

Dungeon Coordinates!

Things in my life are starting to really look up and I'm both grateful and honestly surprised. When things go so bad for so long, you start to get used to the dark and the light at the end of the tunnel becomes brighter.

I woke up this morning with a lighter attitude than I've had in a long time and I swear it helped me have better luck finding mob spawners (aka Dungeons) on Minecraft (lol). In a tradition which is classically "Panda", I'm sharing the luck and love with you guys! I will be listing seed numbers and the exact coordinates of where to find dungeons below.

So if you're a Minecrafter on the Xbox 360, check out these seeds and dungeons and you will definitely prosper! I also added some coordinates for mushroom biomes in certain maps too.

If you're a vet of the game, skip down to the yellow section please.

If you're new to Minecraft on the Xbox here's what you'll need to know. The seed is the 'name' of the map. When you begin the game, you will see a menu prompting you to name your new map and pick a seed. If you leave the seed box blank, you will spawn in a completely random map and be able to explore on your own for goodies and dungeons.

Otherwise, if you would like a leg up, you can enter the seed numbers below in yellow to spawn in these maps. Once you spawn,  press Y to look at your inventory. There you will have a map which you can use to find the coordinates listed below in green to find the mob spawners/dungeons. Select the map with the A button and put it in one of the slots on the bottom of your inventory. These slots are often called your ' hot bar' and you can put items here that you can quickly cycle through and use by clicking the left and right bumpers on your controller.

Now that you have a map in hand, you should set up your inventory with wood, sticks, coal, pick axes and shovels so that you can begin searching for your mob spawners.

Mob spawners are Cobblestone rooms with Moss cobblestone floors. Inside you will find a cage with a spinning pig (peaceful) or monster (any other setting) that is on fire. Do not break the burning box. Instead cover it in torches to keep monsters from spawning. Later when 4J Studios adds survival mode, you'll be able to make cool spawn traps in these areas.

The best part about Mob Spawners/ Dungeons is that you will generally find one or two chests with lots of goodies inside. Mostly wheat, bread, iron ingots, buckets, gun powder, saddles, etc. If you're REALLY lucky you'll find music disks to play in the jukebox or the even rarer and coveted GOLDEN APPLE!

The golden apple can be eaten to restore health but because of its exclusivity, I recommend leaving it as a collector's item. Hide it for safe keeping.

I hope that helps. Here's the good stuff:

X: 38   Y: 63   Z: 18

Minecraft Pixel Art!

As you may or may not know, I'm a Minecraft fiend!

I play on Xbox 360 and ever since it came out, it's pretty much the only game I play. I have built a theme park, a city, and countless houses.

If you're online and you want to play, my gamertag is La Lady Panda.

Now that we have pistons, I've been building even more and I'm hoping to get it recorded so that I can do tutorials and add them to my youtube page.

In the meantime I wanted to share some of my previous creations with you. Here are some art pieces I've made.

PIXEL ART:

Here's Boo from Super Mario. His mouth is the entrance to the Nether which has a Boo Roller Coaster!

The carpet in our Toy Store (in the mall of my city) is ELMO! :)

Here's a Fire Flower I made and Skull and Crossbones my friend Hunter made for the theme park. Under the Fire Flower is the Tunnel of Love :)

Here's Gir from Invader Zim sitting just in front of water slide, also in the Pandaland theme park.

Super Mario at the entrance of the Boo Coaster in the Nether.

My Little Pony at the end of the Rockin' Coaster in Pandaland.(Don't know why it's blurry, sorry :[ )

NOT PIXEL ART:

Here's a 3D Cookie Monster.

And a Creeper water fountain for Creeper Hotel and Resort.

That's all for now friends. I'll be posting more pics of my creations. Let me know via a comment if you want help with something you're building or you want ideas for what to create. I am a pretty vast wealth of knowledge and creativity.

Thanks for reading.
